Maple Leaf designed a barrel where the end is wider compared to the rest of the barrel. At the barrel's end, air passes the BB first and exits before the BB, creating a jet stream that pushes the BB as it exits. This reduces resistance on the BB and does not decrease velocityinstead, it increases accuracy.
